Jordan Vaughn

Jordan Vaughn, MD currently serves as the Public Health Director for New Orleans Health Department as well as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at LSU where she works clinically as an Emergency Physician. She graduated medical school from The University of Rochester Medical and Dental School in Rochester, NY. Her interests academically include domestic and Global health equity, violence injury and prevention, and community engagement.  Currently at LSU, she serves as the Associate Program Director and Director of Social Emergency Medicine Division. At New Orleans Health Department she works on projects involving community health, street medicine and strategy development in the Office of Violence Prevention.  Jordan Vaughn, MD has served Nationally on the Board of Directors with AAEM/RSA as a Member at Large and now serves on the AAEM JEDI Section Board,  and AAEM Social EM committee as Vice Chair.
