Leadership
At KIPP New Orleans Schools, we believe our faculty and staff should reflect the vibrant communities we serve. We are committed to diversity, equity, and investing in professional growth opportunities. Currently, 95% of our teachers and 87% of school leadership identify as people of color.
Additionally, 81% of our school leadership identify as female, and 89% of leaders are developed from within through our intensive training programs.
Through cultivating talent at all levels, we empower educators to unleash their full potential so they can better serve our students on their climb to – and through – college. Our goal is for students to see themselves reflected in role models who understand their backgrounds, share words of inspiration, and provide living proof that they can thrive in the classroom today and lead their communities tomorrow.
