KIPP New Orleans Students Attend Annual HBCU College Fair Organized by The Links Pontchartrain Chapter

At KIPP New Orleans Schools, we believe in providing our students with every opportunity to explore their higher education options and make informed decisions about their future. That's why we were thrilled to have our students from Booker T. Washington High School, along with those from Frederick A. Douglass and John F. Kennedy high schools, attend the annual HBCU college fair organized by The Links Pontchartrain Chapter.

Bobcats Win $50,000 Grand Prize in Larry Nance, Jr. Zero Hunger Challenge

A team of students from KIPP New Orleans' Frederick A. Douglass High School has won the $50,000 grand prize in the Larry Nance, Jr. Zero Hunger Challenge with their innovative "Keep It Growing Boxes" project. The students, who are also enrolled in the Bard Early College and will earn an Associate of Arts degree upon graduation, impressed the judges with their solution-oriented approach to combating food insecurity in New Orleans.
