Our #KIPPsters took the stage at the 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, and the results were nothing short of inspiring! 💡✨
From debating if math was discovered or invented to tackling questions about genetic engineering and the voting age, our young debaters showcased their 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨—core to KIPP’s mission of preparing students for bright futures. 🌟
Big shoutout to the 𝐊𝐈𝐏𝐏 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, with Mya Blanche taking 1st place 🥇, followed by Ronnie Stevenson (2nd), Imai Bethley (3rd), Rynell Lumar (4th), and Taden Andrews (5th)! 🏅💪🏾 Their hard work and dedication shone brightly, with practice sessions even over Thanksgiving break.👏🏾
